About The Abduction at Mountain City or Where is Millie?
Rose Haydee (called Millie) and her sisters come to Mountain City to perform for the miners. Harry Gunnel tries to take Rose for himself only to find out she is involved with Tom Evans. When Rose goes missing, Tom is accused and Harry manipulates the town to hang him for kidnapping Rose. At the last minute, Rose rushes in to save the day.
Audiences will enjoy the traditional melodrama antics with the villain, hero and heroine.
This work is based on historical events that occurred in Mountain City, CO. The show was performed as a social distance melodrama during the Covid pandemic in 2020.
