What do musicians Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse have in common? They all died suddenly at the ripe age of 27. They are all sent to purgatory where they meet Robert Johnson, who sold his soul to the devil in exchange to become the best blues guitarist of his time. They discover they too had sold their souls and paid the price for a life cut short. Is it better to go out in a blaze of glory or to live a long life without the fame?
